Hey guys, I'm having a very, very strange problem with my '96 LT1 M6. The opti is about to get replaced, as well as the water pump soon (just thought I'd throw that in there) Here's the deal, this just started tonight on my way home from work. Whenever I put the clutch in, the RPMs go down to around 500 instead of the normal 900 for about 5 seconds, then goes back to normal. My power steering works, as soon as I give it gas it revs right back up. I know this isn't normal because the RPMs get so low I can *barely* hear my exhaust (and I have loud exhaust) I see no power loss, no other strange side effects..its really confusing me. Has anyone had any similar happenings? Any place for me to start?
