i have valvoline max life in it right now. the shifts are a little smoother. however, i believe this is due to it being new fluid compared to old fluid. i have not had any problems with it. many people will recommend honda atf fluid.

Using Mobil I ATF in my T56, same as I have for 40,000 miles in a T5 (Cobra).

Have about 500miles on the T56 with this fluid, no changes in drivability, but no problems either... I love the T56 comparing to the T5, BTW.
