Synthetic ATF ok for 6 speed

Is valvoline synthetic blend ATF ok to use in my t56, or should i take it back and exhange it for some plane ATF.

I was in a hurry and didnt realize it was sythetic when i got it. I wondered why the bill was so high.

no, sythetic will ruin your syncros in time, its too slippery the sincros can't grab properly, so in time you'll notice your shifter will be harder & harder to shift, then your shifter will pop out of gear, then you're grind when going into gear etc...

Put regular ATF in there bud, Sythetic blend MTF like the GM Syncromesh stuff is ok & I'm running that right now, although I don't know if its me or I'm noticing some extra effort in shifting, I did put an alluminum flywheel on which takes the load of the syncros aswell when shifting but I'm thinking of dumping that & going with ATF..

Any thoughts on GM syncromesh stuff? & how many litres/quarts do you put into your tranny? GM manual says 2.5 litres, I put in 3 bottles which is about 3 there, but I heard you should keep filling until it starts comming out of the fill hole, but the stuff I pored out was about 2 litres, anythoughts?
