Your not going to wash the rings idling.

Just keep trouble shooting, your on the right track. Good Luck.

Thanks. Well, much to my chagrin, the cam is right on the ICL of the cam card. 112. I'm taking a water break, then putting the timing cover, etc back on. I'll find it... someday. Lol... At least I've eliminated another question mark.

I still have to seriously question the LTCC module. I'm no expert on how it works, but I'd be willing to bet that those 8 black transistors in a row control the firing of the coils. You need to verify that the transistors for 1 and 5 work. Ask Bob if there is an easy way to verify the output of those transistors. Also ask him if there is a way to verify the proper signals from the PCM.....I would assume since you don't have an errors on the LED's now that the unit is receiving the proper signals from the PCM....so now it leaves the LTCC module in question.

I may be wrong on all of the above....but the bottom line is you need to verify the output of the LTCC.
