trouble starting...new fuel pump
i had a new pump put in not long ago cause it went out ( stutter starting and when tryin to accelerate sometimes then just went out) went campin a couple weeks ago and then drove to my dads and both times on the interstate 1-1.5 hours. both times when i went to start the car the next day it wont start. turns over fine but wont start. also i can smell some fuel so i think it's getting gas.
any ideas????

Best way to verify fuel is to put a fuel pressure gauge on the fuel rail (Schrader valve) and verify you have fuel pressure. Sometimes the car "floods" on start up; hold the gas pedal to the floor and crank the motor. This sends a signal to the computer to reduce the fuel to the injectors on start up.

Fuel pressure gauge is about $40; good tool to own anyway. It will come with a flex line that screws onto the Schrader valve at the back of your fuel rail (like a tire valve).
