Arrow Tried to bleed air out of the cooling system; no air or coolant in hoses..help?

just finished rebuild and now my car its overheating, not even the fans are coming on. So I tried to bleed the system for air and nothing came out. Absolutely nothing, I tried both valves.

If coolant did not come out, then there is air in it (assuming there was some pressure). Did you properly fill the system and have the bleed valves open as you filled it?

Well, I just filled her up with coolant and ran it idle ... I did not have the bleed valves open as I filled it. Suggestions??

The second part of this procedure describes filling it up.
