Can your tourque converter knock making it sound like you have a bad main or con rod bearing??

Bolts are tight, no cracks in flywheel but when under neath the knock sounds like it is coming from the converter. Took my stethoscope and tried different spots around the engine and can't hear any knocking.

Anyone have any idea??

The only time I've heard one make a noise like that is if the flexplate is cracked, or a bolt is loose, but you say you've checked those 2 things.
