Torque Specs on Oil Cooler and Adapter

Does anyone know the torque specs for the oil cooler block to the oil filter adapter, and then the oil filter adapter to the block? I've looked quite a bit and can't find anything directly saying "Oil Cooler Block to Oil Filter Adapter." most of it is the coolant hoses and such. Also in the gasket set I have (Fel-Pro 260-1650), it says there are FIVE gaskets/seals to that area, but I only found use for one gasket (between oil filter adapter and the engine block) and one seal (between oil cooler block and the engine block). Am I missing something or is this like a 'one size fits all' gasket set? I've got a 1994 LT1 in my Z if that helps.
Thanks!

Don’t know the details of the cooler/adapter seals, but I do know the 94 and 95 are different, possibly by different manufacturers. Shoebox has the 95 configuration:

Did you check the 1994 factory service manual to see if they show torque values?

The 94 and 95 are indeed different, considering that the set also had a seal for a 95 timing cover, I guess I wouldn’t be crazy to assume some of those seals and gaskets are for the 95.

I have not checked the factory service manual yet. I will now, but I have been using [ 1994 LT1 Torque Specs ] with no luck there. I’ll update on if I find anything in the factory service manual about those specs.

Just took a look at the 94 service manuals table of contents, didn’t see anything about a section for torque specs.

Just checked again, the spec for the adapter to the block is 18 ft/lbs. maybe the spec is the same for the cooler to the engine block/adapter? 18 ft/lbs just seems a little light to me.

Torque specs are on page 6A3A-32. There is an oil cooler diagram with a torque spec on page 6A3A-20.

Why not download a free copy?

https://www.mediafire.com/?40mfgeoe4ctti

Difficult to use on a phone, I have copies of every 4th Gen manual available from that site, running it on a 15" laptop (or a 21" aux screen) and its extremely usable. Can also pull them up on an 11" iPad for working in the garage or helping a friend at his/her home. And easy to print an individual page or two to use in the garage or outdoors.

I personally mainly use my phone when I’m asking questions like this, I’ve used the digital copy before but like you said it is a tad bit more difficult on a phone. I think I’d just like to have a physical copy because then it’s just right there to grab. Although they aren’t the cheapest thing ever, that’s for sure. I’ll definitely start using the digital copy more often though!

Shoebox also has a Torque page:

4th Gen LT1 F-body, Fastener Torque and Spec Matrix
