Re: For those seeking taller valve covers

I bought a set of valvecovers from a member on LS1Tech.com. They are polished aluminum, no external markings (no Chevrolet, bowtie, etc.), clearanced for the alternator, and appear to be the same valvecover as the ones on Ebay. We had to modify my OTVC looms (drilled the mounting holes a bit deeper) so the bolts that came with them would be long enough to account for the additional height of the valvecovers but that's about it.

I can take some pictures and post if anyone would like to see my setup.

Are these the same Proform valve covers but only in chrome? http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
They say tall, so i'm wondering if they will work??

They look like the same ones... just make sure they are notched for the alternator (makes the install a bit easier, no additional work to the alternator to make them work).

Re: For those seeking taller valve covers

I have them on my car and it's really that easy to install. Minor grinding involved.
