Is there a problem??????

Without getting too in depth, here it is. My car just doesn't "feel" right, so I hooked up free scan. I'm having trouble recording so this is the basics of it.

Knock count is about 4000 with no retard
L o2 reads .950 all the time. It may move a little to .850 at around 3500
R 02 reads anywhere from .100 @ idle to about .750 at 3500

I have the Lt4 hot cam w/ KM and heads. I've lost about .5 off my ET in 1/8, and it smells rich as he**. Gas milage is kind of down, but nothing outragous. I'm trying t oget all the bugs worked out before I throw it the laugh gas. I need some help as to wether it's in tuning, or component failure, or just nothing.
Thanx for the time,

Jeremy

well i know the o2 readings should be moving rapidly between like 50-950mv. thats what mine does when i look at it with autotap.

Re: Is there a problem??????

If one O2 sensor reads 950mV all the time, something is seriously screwed up. It doesn't sound like its going into closed loop. How long had it been running when you read the data?

It should go into closed loop withing 2-3 minutes of startup, and the O2 sensors should start bouncing back and forth rapidly (9 times per second) covering a range as wide as 0XX-9XX mV, as noted in the post above. If it isn't doing this, its not anywhere near running correctly.

Re: Is there a problem??????

I ran it for about 20 min. I watched it go into closed loop when the BLM's came unlocked and went to 131 on the left bank

Re: Is there a problem??????

But the whole time, the left O2 was reading 950mV?

That should have driven the left BLM to 108, very quickly.

Something is wrong with the data. Doesn't make any sense.
