Wow, Imagine that.

Took 2 weeks to get here though.
Is there another issue that delayed your order being shipped. One thing I can certainly say based on my experience with Thunder Racing is that all orders have been no more than three day's shipping time and usually I get it the second day. Of course I'm not far away, so that helps, but I have had no problems with delayed shipments with them whatsoever.

Is it better to drop the tank so u can clean it better? or should I have him do the access panel?
I did the access panel and would recomend that method. Pulling the tank is a bit of a chore on our cars so I went the panel route with future accessibility in mind.
I got basic measurments for cutting the panel from Joes site shown here.
But I extened the cut in order to get better access, which doesn't weaken the unibdy strength as long as your cut stays to the right side of that structural rib panel that I doctored up in] this modified photo of Joe's car.

I'm not sure if those measurments are accurate. It's been quite a while since I installed the pump, but I seem to remember some inaccuracy with those measurments. Just be sure to stay to the right side of those tack welds holding the structural rib {circled in light blue}.

How long does it take to get a response from this company?
I got back an email telling me to contact the company I purchased it from which was MORE performance. I think MORE no longer exists because their phone is shut off. I contacted thunder racing since they are a racetronix dealer and I've purchased plenty from them. Alas they knew nothing about an update for the pump and I think they didn't want to get involved.

Well, Thunder Racing did reply the same day to the last E-mail I sent 2-11-06, when I was asking for information about this connector, Angie even called, and they {Thunder Racing} does have the feild service kit #135-RX-FLT1-FPDTA, but it's not listed in their catalog so you'll need to call about it. But as seen in the following quote, You'll need an approved RMA # from Racetronix in order to get the part without paying $20.
"The charge for these is $20.00, unless you have an approved RMA number from Racetronix. Jack @ Racetronix can be reached at support@racetronix.com to get this info."
I sent an e-mail to "support@racetronix.com" 2-12-06 and recieved an autoresponse:
"Thank you for contacting the Racetronix tech support team. Your correspondence is very important to us. We will get back to you as soon as possible."
but haven't seen a reply yet.
I gave up.
I bought a fitting from a local disributor for $1.49
