T56 fluid level

Hey guys I'm upgrading my shifter to an mgw from a Hurst billet one, I have my shifter off at the moment, but I have a pic of what it looks like without the shifter I wanted to know if I needed to add more fluid because I couldn't remember if I seen more in it before or no. Thank you

I have always gotten the car level then pulled the fill plug at the transmission. Once it starts to drip out, it's full. You can fill from the top if you like just make sure you have the fill plug out and you don't overfill it.
