Street cam with torque(full precise details)
Just what exactly do I do then? Do you know?...or is it the same mere supposition like that offered by junior stroker, that I "must be a cop".
Toohey???...I guess you don't know me. I identify better with Emerson, Paine, and Thoreau.
Fair enough, so what of the allegation of theft? We'd all like to hear it from the horse's mouth.

Toohey was a character in a novel, not an author, nor even a real person.
The allegator (I made up that word, I think) is the one to contact. Ask PSJ for his contact info since he deleted the thread.

I was gonna buy a le2 cam for my car wich is similar to a cc306 but with a better torque curve but one of the member her made me realise that it was maybe the wrong one for me.So im very thankfull of the opinion he gave.So now im trying to avoid buying a cam that wuld not be good for me.
So i know that there is a lot of cam thread but there is too much variable between each car and owners needs.
The cam:
I would like to avoid custom cam but could change my mind
I want a street cam with a lot of torque
I dont want to shift higher than 6000/6200 rpm
I want it to lope like hell(like a cc306)
Thank you

Those shift points you want are crap... and with the cam you want it will perform like crap. 6-6.2K is still in the power band of the stock cam.
good thread guys, see ya on the next one

There's more to accomodating Comp R lifters than proper adjustment. Regardless even if you think they were adjusted right doesn't mean anything to me.
Did you know God hates you?
Seriously it reads as though you should've just stuck to a simple application.

thank you for making fun of the composition of my post rather than reading the facts I posted in it. it just shows you are a moron. My car was a work in progress that I was continually improving until the bottom end failed. also, please oh lord of the comp R lifters, what did I do wrong with them? they were soaked in oil before installed, I calculated thread pitch on my 7/16" studs and determined exactly how much I would have to turn it to achieve the desired preload. I did this several times. the valvetrain was all set up correctly. what was wrong? what caused my lifters to fail?
right now youre just at the point of being a mindless heckler.

I don't really care what you "do". Your prose just struck me as "lawyerish". I guess it struck Bret as "copish". Fess up if you wish...or not. It's your choice. You can read my CV a few pages back, and Bret's CV has become the hijacked subject of this thread. You can believe my CV or not.

You really don't get it do you? YES, I want you to contact the guy. He's in Bahrain, but I don't remember his screen name. PSJ can hook you up. You are registed there and posted in the last two days, so it should be easy to do.
Ball is in your court. Defecate, get off the pot, or clam up. (I edited that sentence to be more genteel.)

Coming from an LE customer, you guys making excuses for your setups are hurting more than helping the argument (whatever the argument is at this point).
Fix your **** and run it, quit making excuses.
My first pass out with LE stuff (before my new shortblock) was plagued with problems too long to list, and I still broke 11's first pass out.
And what's up with all these "3800 pound" F-bodies... I DON'T THINK SO JACK.
My car is fully loaded, fully optioned, leather seat, 6cd changer, blah blah Z28. It weighed 3330 (without driver) with the only "reduction" being !spare and welds up front. Now it has the ford 9" making it somewhat heavier, and prostars on the back to lighten up some. But 3800 lbs? No.

the word "Excuses" has been broadened more than I have ever heard in this thread. Sure means a lot that an Auto can run within .7 of its best first run out... I wish people didnt consider altitude an "excuse"...
I don't consider altitude an excuse, that's not what I was getting at. If people are running at a high DA and post it in their thread, it would clear up "poor result" threads quite nicely.
Alot of changes and fixing went in to me going 11.3x. But I fixed the problems that made me "slow" and got good results to show for it. Others should do the same.

In all seriousness, I'm not the one being accused of a crime here.
The 'SS Brothers' aren't questioning whether a LE/BRE setup can run a decent number. A few examples have been posted and I think they agree that a LE h/c package can run well when setup correctly. What they are asking for is for the BRE guys to post some credentials to back what they perceive to be arrogance on Bret's part. Since no credentials have been posted, we can only conclude 1 of 2 things:
1. BRE has no credentials to back up what the SS Brothers perceive to be arrogance on Bret's part
2. BRE has the credentials/references to back up what the SS Brothers perceive to be arrogance on Bret's part, but find the SS Brothers to be irrelevant
I pick 1.5.

Made up which word?...allegator or cuirriculum?
