Re: Slightly overheating lt1

How old are the O2 sensors? You may try swapping them to see if the problem moves to the other bank.

I would try switching sides as recomended. I would also look for any upstream exhaust leak(most muffler shops will do this for free). This is something I never would have guessed would effect only one side but an obstruction in the iac passage on the throttle body set me very lean on one side so I would assume blockage in the intake iac passages may also do the same. A burnt o2 wire can cause you problems as well(passenger side runs this risk). If you do swap sides or replace o2s alot of reports of issues with bosch so ac delco is advised. A clogged injector could also get you lean. Changing plugs might show if its all 4 on that side or one cyllander.

Re: Slightly overheating lt1

Thanks for the responses guys, I did jack it up and take a look at the the o2s and found that the left bank o2 had frayed wires near its base. I went and picked two denso o2 sensors and now it is running much smoother. I did start to get a miss after a few minutes and narrowed it down to a bad plug on left bank(assuming running rich for a while wore it out). so far no other issues at this time, I plan on getting the smog done again tomorrow after i put some miles on it. wish me luck!
