I think your trying to say "is there a single plane intake that will work on a lt1 without modifying it"

The answer to that question is no. All of them are made to fit tradational sbc's. You could have a custom intake made that would fit without modification but that would be pricey.

Why do you want one? You would make more power with a cylinder head upgrade.

It is not the hardest job in the world, but you need decent machining skills to convert a Gen I intake for use on an LT1. If you need to ask about it here, you probably need to have a machine/speed shop do the conversion. It would be something I would have done, for sure. If I tried it, it would take days and I would likely screw up at least one intake before I got it right. Maybe a couple, which would get very time consuming and expensive. As you probably have already figured, it's going to be tall with an elbow on top, so I hope you have a big cowl hood.

I dont recall of the top of my head but i know there are a few companies that do them. I know ive read a few posts about Bret Bauer doing them.
Pretty sure phil at AI had done a few also.

Are you set on a single plane or would you consider a sheetmetal intake?
What about a wilson or hogan? (dont know much about these other than the names, they may be single planes or sheetmetals)

I did my own conversion and it came out great, even built my own elbow, and a custom valley/head spacer to increase runner length. I didn't drill the heads or do the intake. I bought some some stainless steel 30 degree washers and that fixed my bolt angle problem and it looks very clean.

I am running a super vic for a vortec engine (slightly taller than a SBC super vic) and between my elbow, 5.63inch super vic, and a 3/8 spacer it fits my stock Ws6 hood (LS1 front end conversion).

Looks killer and I have less than $400 in the whole thing
