Can I reach 12's

Check out the sig. for what I have done. I want to know if I can break 12 second mark with this setup plus I am getting a tune soon. If not what else do I need to get there(No Nitrous or FI).

x2 on that.

Also where are you located...it will be alot harder to hit 12s if you are 5000 feet. If your at sea level i would think you could do it with sticky tires.

with mods in sig and some nitto dr's, I got a 13.1 outta mine, I know with more pratice getting to know how the car is with some sticky tires I could hit 12's. I think you could deffinately hit 12's.

I would think high 12's would be possible with a decent 60ft time. What brand converter and stall rating are you running?

Englishtown is around 55ft elevation. You should have no problem getting into 12s with sticky tires.

your car has the potential to hit 12's. How are your driving skills?

I trapped 109 on a sh$t 60ft time(1.98), if i would of cut a 1.6 60ft I would of ran a low 12x @109 instead of a low 13x @109.

Thats the main reason everyone is telling you "if you have sticky tires you should make it". Because if you dont hook up your going to go low 13's instead of mid high 12's.

goodluck

If you have a strong-running car and can drive, there's no reason you shouldn't be in the 12s (possibly mid 12s). I ran 12s all day a few years back with just bolt-ons.

A hotcam/bolton car is plenty cabale of hitting 12's full weight with some good tires. Might look at doing a little suspension soon, you've got the power to run 12's. Long tubes would help too, but that might not be a option due to emissions, ride height, etc.
