Lots of folks who do a ORP or gut their cat complain of a bumpy idle...probably due to the lack of back pressure.

I wouldn't get all crazy changing sensors yet...find someplace dark and look for arcing around your plug wires. Buy a quality fuel treatment and run that through your tank.

found out my problem. Its a missfire on cylinder 2 and 6. attributed to my plug wires with terrible arcing. Guess what i will be doing this weekend. Whoopee for me, have to spend the whole damn weekend working with plug wires. Hope that helps.

Replaced the #6 plug wire last night and car runs normal again. It had cracked from heat, despite header wrap on the header and a taylor fire sleeve. I used a stock wire and ran it in the stock location, so hopefully no more problems. I know none of u think its your wires. Mine acted exactly the same way, and it just kept getting worse, till it would start backfiring and so forth. Check to see if you have arcing problems or broken wires. I did my plug wires like 5k ago, check them cuz u may be surprised. -Michael
