Severe hesitation/stumbling problem
Severe hesitation/stumbling problem
I give a little history of the problems first.
I installed Hooker LT's the car would stumble/hesitate at low RPM's and cut out like. Problems was diagnosed to a bad O2(left) sensor. (was throwing a SES light)
Got the new sensor(it was used, but only with a few thousand miles) put in and problem fixed, runs great for about a week or so and it starts doing it again, but this time its worse, almost dies when coming to a stop.(no SES) So I get it scanned and it says a faulty EGR system as I never deleted it or anything.
I go this week and have the AIR and EGR deleted from my computer, and the problems is no better.
WE log a few runs and the car is running lean on the the right bank, but my car is reducing the fuel to the lowest value possible and my injectors are only putting out 2(what ever the value is called).
So its like my car is running lean an seemingly not having a problem with it, its not adding any additional fuel to compensate for the lean condition, but rather reducing it to the lowest levels possible.
Anyone ever have this problem, the O2 sensor on the right is fairly new, and the left one is fairly new also. I extended the O2 sensor myself, so I thought this could possibly be the problem.
Thanks, sorry for the length
Nick
