No need to look it up online. Shoebox has a code list SPECIFIC to the LT1 PCM:

http://shbox.com/1/Dtcs.htm

If you want a detailed description of the code, what sets it, and what it takes to fix it, there's a free download of the factory service manual for your car, here, courtesy of GaryDoug:

In the meantime, yes, there is a transmission fluid temp sensor inside the transmission. It is part of the transmission fluid pressure switch assembly. But until you answer Shoebox's question on the exact numerical DTC, it's very difficult to help you.

Re: SeS light came on it read transmission temp sensor.

We’re you possibly using an OBD-2 scanner? If so, that’s a common mistake, but your 1995 is OBD-1 with a 16-pin OBD-2 “style” DLC connects. Means you need an OBD-1 scanner with a 12-pin to 16-pin adapter, or a 16-pin cable.
