Rotating Assembly is HERE!!!!! WOO HOO! Pics inside!!!

Well I've finally recieved my rotating assembly. Had a little holdup when he originally ordered me flat-top pistons w/ 5cc valve reliefs instead of the 16cc inverse dome pistons. Machine work should start this week! :joy:

My only concern right now is the rings, they're a CAST IRON, not coated or anything...pretty cheap ring...I don't want to spend $4000+ on this buildup and cheap out $50 on some stupid rings...so I'd like your opinions on this. And tell me how cool my **** is too LOL j/k

Crankshaft ~ 9-350-3750-6000-L ~ Scat 9000 Cast 3.75" stroke
Rods ~ 2-ICR6000 ~ Scat 6" 4340 I-Beams
Pistons ~ 138103 ~ SRP Forged 16cc Inverted Dome
Main Bearings ~ MS-909-P ~ Clevite 77 P-Series
Rod Bearings ~ CB-663-P ~ Clevite 77 P-Series
Rings ~ R-6902-30 ~ Speed Pro/Sealed Power Economy Cast Iron Not Plasma Moly or Moly or anything...I will have to talk to him about these. I'd like to hear your opinions on these as well!!!!

A set of moly coated rings would be nice but cast iron rings aren't the end of the world either. They are holding up just fine on my stock motor w/175K on it

Edit: Could you post more pics of the crank and the instructions for oil ring support things? Thanks!

I spoke with him about the rings, but he hadn't checked them out. Popped them out and they were indeed crap iron, so he's going to get me some Plasma Moly's

When I go back and he's got the crank out I'll grab some more pics of that stuff. I'm gonna quit buggin him for a couple days

Use moly rings for sure - nothing else will do.
