Need 12 bolt purchase feedback ASAP!!!
Okay I need to know if spending roughly $2600 for a 12 bolt is worth it, or should I take the risk and get a 10 bolt stud girdle kit, and a solid pinion spacer? I have the money for the 12 bolt but now that I have it I do not know if I want to spend it.
HELP!!

Do you take your car to the track? Do you run slicks? If the answer is yes you need a 12-bolt. If you plan on building your car up than you need to get a 12-bolt someday. If you can afford it get it.
I try to go to the track whenever I have the chance, and I would like to run some slicks. I also want to run some 4.10's and I just bought the Super Yank 3500, it has a 1.67 STR, Maybe I should just keep the 12 bolt.
for a price of a 12 bolt i could have 5 10 bolts. Something to think about
If 1 10 bolt will last u a year..thats 5 years before the 12 bolt will pay for itself......do what you want. I decided to take my chances with a 10 bolt with all the goodies, as i dont go to the track often, and i dont run slicks.

i just noticed u had a A4..i would take chances with a 10 bolt...A4 doesnt put as much stress on it as do M6 cars. There are planny of people running 10 bolts with planny of HP. Some last forever some brake after 1 pass
How much power do you think I can put to the 10 bolt if I build it up? I will be in the 11's soon and I am gonna shoot for the 10's with some gas. If I were to keep the 10 bolt, will it hold up to the slicks or ET streets?
