Restrictor questions??

Restrictor questions??

I was wondering cheapest way to cancel the governor/restrictor.... I heard they came stock 93 and up ... I have a 93 camaro z28 .... Would like to know cheapest way unless chipping it is only way ... I'm not too familiar with muscle cars so please don't talk **** lol if you can help then let me know thanks Ryan

It's a computer function....so you'll have to get a new chip programmed to your specifications. There are several options for you...do a search of supporting vendors to see some.

My 93Z was not governed from the factory... But it did came with Z rated tires...

It was "governed", but your car wasn't capable of reaching the speed entered in the speed limiter field - 255 MPH.....
