Removing A.I.R. pump system....

I'm in the process of installing my LTs and wanna remove the entire a.i.r. system. Will there be anything I'll need to plug up or just remove all the components? Thanks guys..

thats all? i thought that there were several locations that needed to be plugged, or have small circular objects attached somehow to plug the system up. i checked shoebox's page for information on this but i didnt see anything about it.

Oh yeah.....youll have to plug the hole in each of the exhaust manifolds when you remove the AIR valves. Youll need 2 22mm oil drain plugs for that. Nothing else needs plugging. Sorry I left that out the first time.

He's putting in long tubes.... but he didn't mention whether they have the AIR connections or not.

When you remove the AIR pump, make sure there is a good fuse in the circuit. That eliminates the code/SES light.

I thought that only worked for OBD1? Am I wrong? Wasn't 95 OBD2?

Thanks. That makes perfect sense.

Now that you say that, I do recall hearing that before too. Leave it to GM to make everything logical.
