The ones I want to use are the green stuff, they are from tirerack and are made of kevlar and don't dust near as bad and have a higher coefficient of friction.

i read that its not good to use pads other than ceramic coated factory recommended. I heard that it wears the rotors quicker?

oh yeah and are those hawk pads any good? i dunno if i really wanna spend $77 dollars for pads.

I have hawk pads and they are great. They don't leave a lot of brake dust and are the best pads i've had on my car.

SpeC - I notice you have some nice rims, you should get the EBC pads, they dust WAY less than anything including the Hawks.

Same here...

only complaint I ever had, was in the morning the 1st stop or two(like literally, just the stop from pulling out of a stop and stopping at a stop sign, they will be kinda sluggish (like if oyu wash your car and get alot of water on your brakes)

then they grip great, and if you get a little heat in them, they bite down great. I used them autocrossing my 94 3.4L(I did a 4 wheel disc swap so same brakes as lt1s) and they were nice.

On my 94 3.4L, with 235s wide tires, I woudl say they are the same or outstop my new '00 3.8L(4 wheel disc) with stock pads and 275s for tires.

The hawks also have almost no fade that I ever really remember noticing...

Great pads, think they might be going on my 3.8L when the stockers go out.
