Removing ASR and keeping ABS... did a search, no info
I'm interested in removing the ASR traction control box from my car. I understand you basically pull the box and swap in the throttle cable for non-ASR cars. As a test I unplugged the electrical connector going to the box, and the ASR and ABS lights went on just like other people said.
From what I understand, you can get a car that has ABS but not traction control. So what else would I need to swap out in order to remove ASR and retain ABS?
OR... has anybody relocated the box so it's not over the valve cover?
Thanks

do a search or post in the "forced induction forum" because in order to run a supercharger you have to remove or relocate the ASR equipment. so your chances are better of finding an answer there.
by the way...checked out your webpage:
as a biologist, i can honestly say biologists are much more fun in bed, although computer geeks have a tendency to be closet freaks!
