Anybody have any experience with the plug and play kit? Would it be a good kit for a universal applictaion? If not , can anyone point me in the direction of a good one?

Don't know about universal, but it worked good in my LT1. The pump is just a Walbro 255 I think. So you can go there to buy it instead of buying the kit for the LT1

Grantelli, BBK, Holley are all the same re-boxed Walbro product and they are not F-LT1 specific SO they will not work with the factory hardware without McGuivering the fuel system.
