Questions about putting heads back on

This might be dumb, but are the heads on the lt1 unisex? (is that the correct term lol). I made sure te steam hole plug were both facing backwards, but didnt see anything in the manual about which head goes to which side.

Also,

I got the fel pro bolt kit and there are two bolts that are longer than the shortest bolts, but shorter than the longest bolts.. do they go on the first and last bolt holes in the head?

As always,

Thanks in advance!

Yes, the heads can be installed on either side. But, if your steam holes are at the rear. You're good to go.

Are you running the cooling crossover. If so i'm pretty sure those holes need to be in the back.
