What’s the power limit of a stock MAF. I have a ported one and I’m not sure if its holding me back. Should I upgrade at this point to the GMS or what. I know that the stock one is 3” in diameter what about the GMS.

well for my 396 i just uninstalled i went with the z06 maf it worked really well but unless your induction is the same diameter it really wont help that much

 

Don't get a GMS MAF. If you do decide to upgrade, go to a ZO6 unit.
Sorry, but I'm not sure ig you're at the stock MAF's limits yet.

where do I get info on the Z06 Maf? I will upgrade mine in the future and dont wanna do it twice... sounds like you guys are getting good result the first time around with the Z06.


I need all the info... size... volumetric capacity ...etc etc..

go to ls1speed.com they have them for 150dollars they are callibrated for the lt1 engine

 

I got my Z06 MAF from ls1speed.com only cost me around 150, half the price of the granatelli.

 

Z06 MAF shows approx. 4 hp gain on a mostly stock car...
