question on strut tower brace

Just putting my strut tower brace from BMR on my Camaro. It says that the brace will sit flush against the strut tower. on the one sent to me the rear of the brce rests on a ridge behind the bolts and the front of the brace is on the tower face itself. Does it sound like BMR sent me the wrong brace, or do they all sit on an angle like this?

Thanx for any reply

Malcolm

Yeah just tighten the shi+ out of them with a wrench. There are ridges but that is as flush as it will get.

Hmmm, been thinking of getting an STB, would you jack it up from the Kmember, or jack stand it at the jacking points behind the front tires. Or does it not matter, what about the 3 pointers?

No need to jack up the car, just bolt it on.
