Question about setup..

I had a concern about my setup...
383 stroker, LT1 heads(268 @.500/196@ .500), CC 306, Mac's, Accel 30's, etc,etc..I was just wondering if I would beneft from installing the new 1.7 RRs?? Do I have too much cam for my heads, or is the extra CI helping that?? With the 1.7's, my new lift #'s would be .578/.612, is that too much for my setup also?? Just need some help. Am I missing something?

I think you will be putting too much stress on the valvetrain if you go with the 1.7 rockers. The additional 10-15 Hp that you might make wouldn't justify all the added stress on the components, and increases the chances of failed springs, pushrods etc.. Just my opinion. Good luck with that stroker.

The motor has a little over 3k miles on it, and Im pretty sure that the springs are rated over .600 lift....My other concern is with the heads/cam setup....Is the cam too much for what my heads flow?? or vice versa??
