[QUOTE] I thought so too, I'm thinking that maybe something is holding my car back. Maybe a good launch at over 4000 w/some et streets will get the job done.

So I was wondering what exhaust jmzlt1 and llafro used for their dyno runs?
The runs were made with a full exhaust (no cutout). I am running SLP 1-3/4 headers into a 3" ORP and full Hooker 3" cat-back.

The dyno tuning I had done was mainly for driveability. My mechanic said he didn't really tune it for power. We may go back and see if there is more to be had with different computer settings, and maybe a cutout.

It pulls really hard on the top end. I bounced it off the rev limiter the other night in second gear. It gets there fast now and pulls right to the limiter. It pushed me forward in the seat when I hit it.

FUN!!!

I don't think you get what is funny about the civic hp. They can not have RWHP. Because they are FWD cars.

well you can always convert it. lol make it a 2 seater, move the fire wall back drop in a lt1 create a new tranny tunnel, drop in a rear and there you go. you knwo how they always drive with the seat all the way back so they look like there in the back seat, well this way they actually will be

Are you in California? Could you pass smog in California with your cam? I see your running no Air and Egr but what about the cam?

Also who do you have tune your car? I'm looking for someone around the L.A area for when I get a set of Heads and a Cam.

Well i made a little over 380 to the RW'S thats is with a blower and a set of P/P heads, but the bottom end is stock and that was with a stock CAM too so i think i did pretty good OH YEAH that was also with the cutout closed and the stock ignition. Now i have the ACCEL 300 plus on board and i will be going back to see what else is left in there mind you the car has 88,000 miles and seems to get great gas mileage , but of course if you beet on it it doesnt ..I am going to be changing my set up soon too, I want to go to a 383 and a good blower cam so i might get close to the RWHP level i want but all in all i love the blower set-up alot..good luck in what you choose..

i plan on trying all this with the dualcat setup. haven't decided on headers yet, and for the cat-back i will be running the 3" Banks system. speaking of the Banks cat-back...if you're interested in a nice looking stainless catback you should really check this exhaust out. i ordered it last week so i should have it on by next weekend. i think it's very nice looking and relatively cheap. i don't know how to upload sound clips but i could probably post some pics of it installed.
that is #2 on my journey to 380....lol the home made CAI being #1. i know, i've got a LONG ways to go but i've got to start somewhere! next week i WILL be swapping in the 3.42 rearend. next after that i plan on doing liek a 2800 stall and if money permits, maybe some SLP 1 3/4 headers.
stock with the 2.73's i'm usually running 14.33's at 97.8 mph (quicker than the stock cars i've seen at this track). i'm hoping with the gear, catback, stall, and SLP's i'll be running 13.5's and break 100mph. i know most people here would be hoping for low 13's with that setup but not at this track. stock lt1's are running 14.4-14.6 at National Trail Raceway on average.
thanks for all the info, i'm trying to make a list of what to do step by step and hopefully by the end of next summer i'll be able to tell you guys i got 380!
thanks again,
Michael.
