Pushrod Question
Is it extremley important to put the pushords (stock pushrods) back in the same excat place they were pulled out? Shoebox's website, which is like everyone says awesome, says "Remove the pushrods, keeping them in order if you will reuse them." How important is this and what could happen if you don't?

Re: Pushrod Question
Pushrods can be moved around. If you're going to use the same cam, I'd put the same lifter in the same place. Not as big an issue with roller style lifters as it is with non-roller style.

Re: Pushrod Question
Allrighty. I didn't see why it would hurt, but I do treat Shoebox's tech site like the LT1 Bible, so I just wanted to be sure it was okay. Thanks for the peace-of-mind.
OBE1 95Z28, if you upgrade to a larger cam and are using the same lifters, does it make any difference then on which lifter goes where?

Re: Pushrod Question
With a new cam it doesn't make any difference. The reason for matching is to "line up" any wear patterns between mating parts. Since the cam is new, there aren't any wear patterns.
