OK, I got the tranny fixed, the converter changed and back in the car. I then preceded to friday night tnt where the car still only run 6.85 @ 99 mph. I was alittle disappointed, but it was much more raceable so I let it go. The next day was the 2nd pts race at my track and it was quite warm, 85degs, and it ran a 6.83 @ 99.5 mph off the trailer. I made it to the semis before I broke another ring gear, this time I broke 6 teeth off the ring. Anyway my buddy had a 5.13 pro gear in his shop so we thrashed early that morning to get the car ready for sundays pts race, and we did, and then I ended up having to race his son both 1st and 2nd rd winning both times, that sucked. I can't really tell alot of difference between the 4.88 and the 5.13 I just hope the pro gear stays together longer than 16 passes. If anything else happens or I change something I'll post it.

Pro Gear is the way to go...Thats all I run.

Have you had the car on the dyno? asking to see where it makes the best power.....and have you thought of taking gear out of it? My car went the same e.t w/4.57 and 4.11....but lost M.p.h

I need to get it back to the dyno to have things fine tuned, as for the gear I like the 4.88's with my 30in tire, the 5.13's were just what we had to do to be able to race the next day. I have a few things I want to do try with the tune inthe next couple of weeks. I'll keep everybody posted.

It's been awhile, but I finally got thing ironed out. I ran a new best of 6.79 @ 98.7 mph in the heat of June of all times so I can't wait until this fall, maybe I can get it into the 6.60's that be sweet. Again thanks Ron/Phil of AI you guys rock.
