procomp shaft rockers $200!!
With attitudes like 11secgen, the United States is in even more trouble than I thought. Its a real shame. Screw those rich, profit making US industrialsts who spent their money developing a quality product at a fair price. Let's save our money and pay the Chinese to rip them off...... Great attitude.

Its pretty sad, I don't mind paying more as long as I get what I pay for and get a good quality product thats made in the USA. Alot of these companies **** me off the way they market and try to make it seem like its US stuff and its chinese....Like how Eagle put whatever it is Tenn. on the boxes. I still get pissed today b/c I never knew anything about eagle, so when someone mentioned it I told my machinist to go with it....and I get chinese stuff. I didn't know.
But when I saw old boxes in the corner with Tenn. its very misleading....
"they seem to fit well"? I'd rather read that they fit "perfectly".
And there's a reason they're that much cheaper. But you will only discover the
reason given time. And it's quite possible that we will see a future post as to
why they are so cheap. The old expression, "you get what you pay for" has
a lot of examples standing behind it. And when you have to go out and
purchase a second set, or worse, spend more money on a quality set,
you will understand what everyone is telling you.
I've been wrenching motorcycles and cars since I was 14, which means i've
been doing this stuff for 36 years. I've probably been doing this stuff longer
than you've been around
and believe me, what I'm saying is true. And
it's getting worse these days because just about *everything* is getting
farmed out to China, which is probably where this set is from.
Personally, I *only* buy American-made, high-quality products. Firstly, I
know the quality is better, and secondly, I dont want my hard-earned
cash to go oversees - I want to see the money going to folks that really
care about build quality and will *continue* to stay in business.. Let's not
let America turn into a service-oriented country - we need the manufacturing
to stay here.

Scat rotating assembles - when I mentioned the name, he literally dropped
his head and rolled his eyes. He says that over 80% of the Scat cranks that
are sent to him need re-work. There is an engine shop next door to him and
they always send every crank to him to verify tolerances - and it's each and
every made-in-China crank that are out of tolerance. Inevitably, they have
to call the customer and tell them that they now have to spend much
more money to have the crank re-worked.
Yes, the initial cash layout is much lower and tempting, but you will pay just
as much or possibly even MORE in the end by going the farmed to China route.
