Is 240 dollars too much to pay for plugs and wires labor?

Buy some ramps, a swivel, and some extensions. You will still be out less than $240.00. Give yourself a day with nothing else to do though.

Heres one way of looking at it. What do you do for a living? How much do you make an hour / day? If you take the entire day off to do this, which you will since you are asking about its worth, how much money would it cost you? Assume its an unpaid day off. How much is your time worth to you?

Do you enjoy....working on cars? Cursing the engineers who designed these cars?...bleeding...sore backs?.....more bleeding?....Its actually not that hard. It takes time and patience. It takes walking away when you cannot reach something. It takes strength to take off some of the bolts.

I actually love doing these things myself, and it is cost ineffective for me as far as my time, but I do it anyway.

I don't think $240 is all that bad for plugs and wires.

Headers or stock manifolds?

Anything you remove will help you gain access. Pulling the starter gives you access to the rear pass plugs that are hard too. Not required though. Its only 2 bolts if I recall.

So shorty headers. Not sure about plug access, but it might be better than stock. You should be able to get to most of them from under the car.

Search how to change plugs. It will really help you . Some have detailed exactly how to remove each plug with length of extension needed ect.

to me it would be worth $240 for someone to do it. But then again laying under the car in weird postions makes my back hurt worse than it already does.

But for $240 theyd have to run the wires correctly, not which ever way is easier, so it wont just burn the wires

Its not that I don't know how to work on my car, the problem is both of my shoulders are dislocated and I have zero tools, I would love to be able to do the work myself. Unfortunatly I can't.

$240 to change plugs AND wires is not too much. Most of the comments here are for changing the plugs only. The wires are routed through a loom behind the accessory mount and running them correctly matters. If you have physical ailments that preclude you from flopping around the car then by all means pay the $240....
