Plugs and Wires

Well Im doing pretty good I guess.
I decided to give my car a tune up and I went with Taylor 8mm Wires and NGK TR55 Spark Plugs.

I have no mechanical experience so I might be slow doing this compared to some of you.

I only did the Drivers side today cause its to damn cold.

I did #1 and #3 from the bottom- EXTREMELY easy no problems at all
#5 gave me a little trouble taking it out and a TON of trouble lining up the treads putting it back in. But I finally got it.
#7 Wasnt to hard but it was Difficult. More of a PITA because the car was so low back there and the thing I lie on wouldnt fit me all the way back there so I had to inch in.

Took me 3 hours so far. That was taking a decent break after every plug and wire to come inside and warm up. Probably about 2 hours full work and 1 hour inbetween.

Just letting everyone know. Im ready for the pass side to completely suck,

Yea I am. Im 17 and have no experience working on cars, this isnt the easiest thing to start on as all you experience people know.

Well I did the easy side and Im gonna wait til it warms up cause its just to cold to do the pass side.

And I know Im saving a ton of money so its all worth it. Plus Im learning a lot about the car.

I assume you have the stock manifolds on. Those thiings suck and totally get in the way of swapping plugs. The first couple of swaps does take some time, but it is totally rewarding afterwards knowing you did the work like it should be done. Good luck and the Passenger side is a FEMALE DOG

lol thanks guys.

Im gonna start a post about locating my oil leak I have found because of working on my car.

Leaking off the tranny, lots of oil around the #7 plug. So I think its coming from right about there.

Cool man that you're tackling this yourself. I'm about to do plugs and wires myself and like you I've never done my own mechanical work. Ahh yes a learning experience! Just know there's someone else out there in the same boat as you, except it's not cold out here in Cali
