plugs and gap with a 150 shot?

Stock 96 ram air with a NOS dry 150 shot. What heat range plugs and gap are you running? If you have a part number please pass it on.

Thanks,

Brent

The alternative would be Autolite 104 at 0.035"

One step colder than stock. The next step on the Autolites... 2 steps colder.... would be the 103. I run those NA. They will carbon up if you spend too much time putzing around in stop-n-go traffic,

Do you guys think that gapping too large would cause detonation?

I have 104s gapped at .040", with an Accel 300+ ignition, coil and wires, and I get spark retard even with a 75-shot. It's not fuel flow, as I have a FP meter and monitor the O2 sensor values.

Should I try gapping smaller or do I have another problem?

I'm running Autolite 103's @ .040 with a 150-175 shot NX.

IMO, i wouldn't run a 150 shot on a stock ignition. Get a aftermarket and u can gap the plugs at 0.038 or so(i'd reccomend ngk tr6's), and I'd pull some timing, if u have a stock setup and just blast in a 150 shot blind your gonna possibly break something without proper precautions.
