Plug Wire Opinions

What are the some of the best plug wires out there for LT1s? I'm going to be installing headers soon, so I definitely be doing plug wires and spark plugs at the same time. It seems a lot of people like the stock spark plugs, any suggestions on those too? I want good performance, but also they need to have low noise.
TIA!

Hmm, maybe I should have posted this in the audio section...

I just ordered the NGK-TR55 Iridiums and a set of OTVC Taylor wires from Thunder Racing...so I will be installing those soon....I suggest checking them out....it also depends if you want the plugs a degree colder than stock or not....the NGK's I got are the same heat range as the stock ones....

when i installed headers I also used Taylor OTVC wires. That was 25K+ miles ago and not a single miss. Some people dont like them.I think it is because you have to crimp them yourself.Which can lead to mistakes. My $.02

I did a search in both the Lounge and LT1 Tech, and nothing came up that was useful. Sorry.

I did a search a few months ago, taylor wires seemed to be the most popular. I replaced some Accel's with Moroso wires and noticed a pretty big difference. About two weeks later I burned one of the Moroso's in half, so I replaced those with Taylor's and once again noticed a difference. No problems with the Taylor wires since then. I'd say go with Taylor wires. They were also some of the cheapest I found!

I was looking on Thunder Racing's website, and liked the side-mount wire looms that come with the Taylor kit also. Does anyone have any experience with these and SLP dual cat headers?

I like the side mount ones too, but I decided on the OTVC ones to keep them as far away from my edelbrocks as possible...just my 2 cents

So I take it you have SLP dual cat headers? Which wire loom are you using (over the valve cover, or side mount)?
