i have a huge problem with plug wire number 6 or you can call it my headers. either way its a problem and the headers need to stay for awhile. i dont like them but cant afford some longtubes yet.

my problem is i keep melting plug wire 6 no matter how i route it and it arcs everywhere and car runs like complete crap because of it. my question is i have on of those metal covers that go on stock wires, right over the boot... will that help or will it heat up just as much from touching the header and then melt the whole thing? just want thisfixed, miss my camaro and just hate driving it when it runs that bad. thanks

 

Plug six was a problem with my RK sport headers. I made a custome plug wire that had the straight terminal and boot and the problem was resolved.

The old right angle terminal and boot would burn up all day long.
