Unhappy Please help me with my fuel pump problem??

OK here is my situation:

I was driving home from work this morning with absolutely no problems at all, and my car dies out (97 Trans Am). So I get my car home and I check every single fuse in the fuse panel inside the car and under the hood. So then I turn my key forward and I do not hear my fuel pump running & I have a Walbro 255lph in-tank pump which is pretty loud and I hear nothing. So then I locate the "fuel pump relay" and then I unplug it and jump the #30 & #87 (I think) & I then hear the fuel pump kick on. So my first guess would be the relay, but then I put the wire back to 30 & 87 and try to start the car and still nothing. The car cranks and is getting spark but is not getting fuel since the pump is not kicking on unless I jump those two connectors on the relay...

Any & all help is greatly appreciated, and this fuel pump is only about 8 months old but I really don't think that's my problem since I can hear it kick on when I jump it...

Thanks guys!!
