P0118 code..

p0118 code just popped up the other day i know it means engine coolant temp sensor high input. i have done the 3 wire 1 sensor conversion about a year ago and havent had a problem with it until now. i replaced the sensor today and still didnt help. i pulled the wire loom apart and everything seemed fine. didnt know if the pigtail went bad if it would throw that code, the pigtail is a ac delco and is less than a year old but just seeing if anyone could help me diagnose what was wrong

The code sets when the PCM sees more than 4.9V on the circuit. That would essentially represent an open circuit. You have to verify the continuity of the wiring from the PCM to the sensor.
