opti-spark HELP

opti-spark HELP

ok heres the deal first the ECM went bad after replacing with a new one then module went also now codes says the opti-spark is bad any one else had this problem ??

Also if you let it sit over nite next morning if will fire up and run about 1 min. tops then shut down and wont start till next morning for another 1 min. then shut down again.

Generation specific engine tech questions should be posted on the engine specific forums.... in this case, "LT1 Tech". Moving it there.

To have a better chance at a meaningful answer, you might want to include basic info like the year of your car, clarify which "module" you replaced and the specific codes you are getting to indicate a problem with the distributor. If you clear the codes, do they return in the 1 minute operating window the next day?

If you don't supply as much info as you can (like Injuneer was trying to tell you), no one is going to bother to try to "guess" your problem.
