Anyone have a good explanation as to why O'Riellys has one for 136 and everyone else on the face of the planet wants 350 plus for one? The guy at O'Riellys says its the exact same one.

Less than $200 for a vented opti. Not worth the trouble/risk to buy a remanufactured one, IMHO.

If you want an opti, don't do like i did and payed 265 from Brassington Cadillac for the GM part. I just spoke to shoebox on the phone yesterday and he gave me a price of $198 for the NEW (not reman) GM part number 1104032. He works for Vandevere and you can email him directly. Just look up his member Id and email. He has the lowest prices anywhere. BTW I read a thread 3 days ago from someone who just a bought the Oreilly part and it was defective. I have found for certain parts you should stick with OEM and this is one of them.

That is Dal you spoke to at Vandevere, not me. Sometimes I do wish I worked at a dealer.
