o2 Sensor Question??

Well I was going to splice to extend but after looking here at the board I decided to go with extenders. I am running the Pacesetter LT's and an Offroad Y, no cat. My question is, on LS1 speed it said you had to run o2 sims. Is that true or can I go ahead and just get extenders?

You can just run extenders. The sims are for people that get rid of the sensors at the cat (OBD II).

Re: o2 Sensor Question??

The answer depends on what O2 sensor you are talking about.

I know some '95s (California cars maybe?) have the 4 O2 sensor configuration, and I believe some only have 2. Do you know how many O2s you have?

If you only have 2, then you do not want to use simulators! If you have 4 O2 sensors, and no cats, then you need to use simulators for both rear O2 sensors, but not the front 2.

Thomas.

That answered my question. I have only 2. Do you guys know how long I will need? It looks like about 2-3 foot on drivers and about the same on passenger.

No 95's have 4 O2 sensors. The "CA Emissions" A4 cars had dual cats, but they were still OBD-I, and did not have after-cat O2 sensors.

Re: o2 Sensor Question??

The 12" harness extensions should be more then enough. I used the 24" extensions at first and there was way too much excess so I switched to the 12"s.
