Smile cat or no cat with headers

Ok guys, this is my first 4th gen 96 camaro, z 28, 3.73 gears, 2800 torque converter, adding long tube headers, do we leave the cats off, do we leave the air pump off or whats the best. I know legally we are not to remove the cats but, I'am in Florida no inspections.

Without a doubt, no cats, AIR or EGR. If you must have the cats or want to, you can always do a cutout.

Fitting cats into a ory pipe can be a big chore. If your area does not require inspection, then I would leave them off.
