no more A.I.R.

what all do i need to do to get rid of the air system. i put headers on the car yesterday and i would rather not hook all that back up. can i leave the pump on and just take all the pipes out? what kind of ses light will it show? can it be programmed out if it does? thanks

Depends on what year your car is. I beleive on 93-95 it wont set the ses, and 96 on up it will when you unplug the pump. Since it is electric, yes, you cxan leave it, but why? Only 3 bolts hold it up and it's just dead weight. And if it was to set a code, you can simply get it tuned out of the PCM.
