Got a new fuel Delphi fuel regulator from rock auto. Said the part would fit my 96 Camaro lt1. The fuel line doesn't fit all the way in as you can see in the picture. Not sure why this is? Is there a different regulator i should try?

 

Look at this picture to see how the retaining clip is positioned, and how the pipe fits into the regulator. The clip just needs to hold the pipe firmly against the stop in the regulator.

The new one wasnt the right fit had to get another then it fit
