Not a nitrous fan. You won't regret doing the cam.

I guess it depends on how fast you want to go. You can add up to a 150 shot now with the n2o or 40-50 rwhp with a cam. the car will sound mean with the cam, but personally I'd rather be faster, that's why I chose nitrous. you'll be happy with either one

Im in process of doing a cam right now. Final cost is looking to be about 1600 in parts.

This includes the best of everything though (ti retainers, chromemoly .080 pushrods, new lifters etc) That price also includes new cloyes timing chain, electric h20, new opti (including the stuff needed to convert to 95+), 1.6 rockers etc. Anything that is comming off is getting replaced more or less, and everything getting replaced is some of the best stuff you can buy IMO.

Sounds like a lot of money, but if you are gounbg to do it, do it right the first time IMO

That's why I decided to go about doing a cam. My opti is on it's way out and I just ordered a new one. So I figured, while I was that far along on the front of the engine, why not throw a cam in. Thanks for all of your help and opinions. They are very appreciated.
