What am i looking at?

Well my cars missing just a little bit, so i lift the hood and(it dark outside)..i see the farther back plugs or wire boots(cant tell) on my passenger side have like a blue electric light flickering pretty fast , i dont see it on any other plugs except for one on the drivers side, but that one doesnt seem to blink as fast or bright. What's going on...are the boots or plugs not on correctly?..i have a small small miss at idle, could this be the cause of it? is this normal or am i losing spark?..thanks Tony

I would suggest getting new plugs and wires.

If you can see arcing, you have something installed wrong or you have already burned one or more of the wires. Every time it arcs, the spark energy is going to ground instead of the plug. Result=miss.

so when you say installed wrong, you mean loose, cuz i dont see it coming from anywhere else but the actual plug or boot, nothing along the wires, we got them plenty far away from the headers, just they were kind of hard to get on, we probably just left them too loose. How bad is it to drive like this?...i kind of thought something like this was happening cuz sometimes when i get off the car while its still on and touch the car, i get shocked. I thought i could be a bad ground somewhere but this makes more sense. thanks Tony

Strange that you would get shocked unless you were touching a wire. Sure it is just not a static electricity shock?

Maybe you just did not get the boot snapped on good. There has to be a reason why it is finding an easy path to ground.

As far as driving it, about the only thing you will notice is a miss and lesser power. That plug could get a little fouled, too.

I would then suggest turning the car OFF and pushing in on each boot...

i did mean the static electricity type shock, nothing major...so what would cause that then?...as far as the boots go, i'm gunna have to lower the header to get them on real good, cant get a good push otherwise, that sucks..oh well..thanks Tony

If you have to do it, you have to do it. Whether to replace the wires, or push them on.
