Question Need ideas for cousin's LT1

My cousin just bought a 1995 Z28 M6 Convertible with 46,000 miles on it. What should his first mods be with the car? I used to have an lt1 but it was an auto. I started off with moroso cai, lm exhaust, then a 2800 Vigilante and tranny rebuild. I don't know where to start with an M6 Lt1 though. I have an ls1 m6 now but the ls1 and lt1 are totally different. Should he go with 410's or what?? The lt1 has a lot of low end and 410's seem high to me. Also, can I take him in a race? My car is in the sig with the mods listed. He is coming up on friday.

HEADERS???

We live in Ca man. Aren't headers only worth it if they are long tubes?

No, he could get a set of shorties for about 300, or even less if used. They usually net about 10-20rwhp. Well worth it IMO.

catback, cai, then headers. Headers even shorties do a lot for these cars. I say catback first because it is nice to hear your car while you drive it.

I'd say catback, headers first. then work from there.
You midas well cam it while your at it damn, that means you might have to port the heads. I guess the mods never stop
